Working at heights is the biggest hazard in the work place according with HSA and we will emphasise the importance of this training and the key elements you need to know.
Working at heights can be extremely dangerous if not done correctly. That’s why it is crucial to receive proper training to ensure your safety and the safety of those around you.

During this training, you will learn about the various hazards associated with working at heights. This includes understanding the risks of falling, the importance of using proper safety equipment, and how to assess and control potential dangers.

One of the main objectives of this training is to teach you how to properly use fall protection systems. You will learn how to inspect and maintain equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, and anchor points. It is essential to understand the correct procedures for donning and doffing this equipment to ensure maximum safety.

Additionally, you will be taught how to identify potential hazards in the work environment and how to implement control measures to minimise the risk of accidents. This includes understanding the importance of proper scaffolding, guardrails, Ladders and other safety measures.

Throughout this training, you will also learn about emergency procedures, such as rescue techniques and first aid. It is crucial to be prepared for any unexpected situations that may arise while working at heights.
